Hi ,
When is it acceptable for humans to intervene in tasks supposedly being performed by AI?
Earlier this month, it was revealed that rather than
being powered by AI as advertised, Amazon's Just Walk Out checkout-free supermarkets were actually heavily reliant on human workers to manually review purchases.
This made me wonder about the ethics of using human workers to
perform tasks in products and technologies that users have been led to believe were being performed by AI.
Before I share what I think, I am interested to know your thoughts on this topic.
