Do you have an Excel strategy?
Of course not. That would be as absurd as a restaurant with an oven strategy or a builder with a hammer strategy.
Like an oven or a hammer, Excel is just a tool for achieving an outcome. It's the outcome that matters most.
So, why do so many organisations feel the need to develop an AI strategy?
Here's the thing...
To quote University of Toronto management professor Mihnea Moldoveanu:
"AI strategies fail because AI is a means, not an end. 'Do you have an AI strategy?' makes as much sense as asking, 'Do we have an Excel strategy?'"
When tools lead a business, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Focus on the outcomes you are trying to achieve and you will dramatically increase your chances of success.
